This was a little bit of an adventure. As we arrived the electricity went out, we were assured however that this wouldn't impede dinner as they have gas stoves...we were happy! The electricity was back by the time we were seated though.

They had a special section of the menu for Restaurant Week and all members of our party (of 7) were able to find something from all courses/categories. Though some persons thought the portions were small. I was personally happy that for once I could actually have all 3 courses! And at the end, I did not feel like a little piggy + the flavour of the meals were good, so I had no feelings of dissatisfaction or wanting at the end.

The electricity went again during dinner but because of the great ambiance this really didn't affect us and they quickly got candles out which fit right into the decor.

This was my first time at their new location and it had the same feel of the previous location and more importantly the food quality was just the same. Will definite be going there again.

Dishes Ordered: Peach on the Beach (drink)
Callaloo strudel (appetiser)
Nova Scotia salmon with an orange-ginger glaze (main course)
Rum cake with a rum cream (dessert)

Tried the Peppered Garlic Shrimp. It was a little heavy on the black pepper (I think if you can actually taste black pepper there's too much), but otherwise it was good. I wasn't disappointed.

As for that Tia Maria cheesecake I had for dessert, the flavour was good but the texture, not so much. It was what Jamaican people would call "softie-softie".

Service was a little slow since that poor guy seemed to be the only one working most of the tables that day but I'd like to think its not usually like that.

The experience wasn't bad though, I'd go again.
